One House of Prayer is based in St. Louis, Missouri located in the inner-city area. We started from humble beginnings and as a young, healthy, fast growing, multicultural church; our faith in Jesus Christ is core to who we are. As twenty first century millennium leaders as well as the leadership staff, at OHOP Ministries we serve in the spirit of excellence with the utmost level of integrity, dignity and respect. As leaders our God’ ordained mandate is to set captive free by empowering diverse people, of manifold back grounds, cultures and denominations; in our families, communities, in our city, nationally and world-wide, by relying on the love of God, His Grace and Spirit, we affirm the truth of the gospel to reach and bring forth help, hope, and life in all its fullness.

Pastor Christopher

Pastor Christopher steadfast commitment is evident. He deeply cares and he is passionate about the plight of people reaching their full potential in Christ. He is a visionary, a true millennial leader radical for Christ with great wisdom and knowledge and a cutting-edge personality. He is called by God to lead, revolutionize and bring those who are captive out of bondage.

Pastor Christopher was born of nine children to the late Charlie and Pastor Lula B. Harris. Growing up in the inner City of St. Louis, Pastor Christopher lived in an environment of gangs and violence. At the tender age of twelve, God gave him the courage and the boldness like The

Psalmist King David to stand up to any Goliath and not be afraid. With this strong, tenacious spirit, he didn’t succumb to the intimidating and emasculating force from gang members and was able to escape.

Using his God give tools and gifts, God has given Pastor Christopher a vision on how to lead men into prosperity. Pastor Christopher is a carpenter by trade and has a residential and commercial contracting business called Top NOTCH Innovations LLC. He has an apprentice component within his business to help train men in the carpentry trade by opening closed doors for opportunities. Pastor Christopher is Director over the ‘Men with Purpose’ program, which is a therapeutic men’s group session which serves as a positive outlet for men to talk. The Men with Purpose program is geared towards building families, setting morals and creating a strong network of responsible men.

Raised in the Church, Pastor Christopher was taught the word of God by his God-fearing mother. Inspired by her teaching, he began to study the word of God not knowing the gift of interpreting the word that lies within. Pastor Christopher is a dynamic preacher and teacher at One House of Prayer Praise Center where he is the lead pastor. With his God given anointing to preach and teach he believes the best use of power is to empower others. He is a man with purpose empowered by God with a vision to, “renew the minds of the people to understand how to live and enjoy the life God intends. By the wisdom of God, through the truth and power of the gospel of Jesus Christ-not with the enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power of God.

He’s a devoted husband for over eighteen years to his lovely wife First Lady Felicia D.Harris and they are the proud parents and grandparents of five children and three grandchildren.

First Lady Felicia

Lady Felicia D. Harris is a woman blessed by God' to encourage women of all walks of life to live according to the word of God.' Felicia was born on January 26th, 1970, and at the tender age of eleven years old, she accepted Jesus' Christ as her Lord and Savior. Throughout the many years of serving at 'H.H.O.W. Ministries and OHOP Ministries, Felicia has worked with various ministries.

She helped in the Pastor's Care Ministry, Women's Ministry, Hospitality, and Guest Services Ministry. Also, she has worked with the Outreach Ministry giving back to those in need. Felicia loves the beauty of transformation, her passion and profession is in the beauty industry where she continues to thrive. She is a licensed cosmetologist, having received her credentials in 1988. Felicia has many achievements: she received many certifications: hair replacement, hair color, and hair cutting just to name a few while attending Toni Love International, Hair Vision International, also Dudley Cosmetology University. As a business owner for 33 years she has the experience to know what it takes to lead with integrity and excellence. Felicia believes according to the word God' we are always learning, and the best use of power is to empower others to grow.

Felicia continues to further her education by attending annual conferences that in turn help her remain a sought after, cutting-edge stylist and much more. In this profession, God has given Felicia favor, and afforded her the opportunity to minister beyond the walls of the church; by giving wise spiritual guidance to her clients and others. Felicia is the proud wife of Pastor Christopher L. Harris of 18 years, the Senior Pastor of 'One House Of Prayer Praise Center' located in St. Louis, MO. Felicia's most important ministry first is supporting and ministering to her husband the anointed, God fearing man of God,' Pastor Christopher L. Harris.

Felicia works side by side to encourage, respect, and honor her husband as he leads their family and others by the word of God as he follows Christ. Lady Felicia and Pastor Christopher have five children. Their ministry first began at their home. They believe when God is the head of your marriage, household, and relationships it will prosper so that you can have that more abundant life through our redeemer, Jesus' Christ. Together they serve greater, one of their favorite scriptures is, "As for me and my house we will serve the LORD" Joshua 24:15.

OUR DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE

  • The Holy Bible is the divine word of God, which was given to us by men that were inspired by God to write the script that we may be perfect and thoroughly furnished in all good works for correction, instruction and righteousness (II Timothy 3:16) 

  • In the life, death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; that Jesus is and was the supreme sacrifice for the sins of all humanity. 

  • if we acknowledge Jesus as Lord, repent of our sins, and be baptized in water in Jesus name, we will be saved; for His blood cleanse us from all our sins. 

  • in receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues as the spirit gives us utterances according to (Acts 2:1 and Acts 2:38). 

  • In living holy as Jesus said be ye holy for I am Holy (I Peter 1:6). 

IT’S A NEW SEASON

Significant change and a reinvigorated wave of glory is being revealed in the body of Christ. There are special times in history when God is doing something new and significant. Our history is in the making, uniting the history, culture, worship styles and two churches into one. On November 12th of 2023, Southern Union Missionary Baptist Church and Hope House of Worship Church congregations became One House of Prayer Praise Center. There is a vast history amongst both churches, as we celebrate the present and honor the past.

Together we have a new future uniting for a greater Kingdom impact. The process of uniting the two churches has been like a courtship and marriage. In Genesis 2:24 it is written, “And the two shall become One.” God is a champion for merging and bringing diverse people together into a beautiful image in the body of Christ that reflects what heaven will look like on earth.

This God inspired merger brought a covenant unification that each member is called to cultivate, guard and preserve. After much consideration, tireless dedication, faithfulness praying and fasting and most importantly hearing from God’; Senior Pastor Christopher L. Harris saw an even bigger picture of the vision which God ordained from the beginning in His divine purpose planned. Pastor Christopher’s assignment was to merge the two churches as one.

As Lead Pastor he was charged by God to “Rise Up and build as God strengthened his hands for this good work.” Now truly God as given unto us extra grace required to serve others together. God is clearly behind the momentum. In biblical terms. We believe the merger is the manifestation of God doing a “new thing” (Isaiah 43:19). We are better together!

Pastor Lula B. Harris

The founder and former Pastor of Hope House of Worship Ministries Church (H.H.O.W) Pastor Lula B. Harris began H.H.O.W. Ministries Church in 2004 in St. Louis, Missouri. H.H.O.W. Ministries located in the inner city continues to impact the surrounding communities, with its focus on building lives through service that motivates and challenges individuals to fulfill their regional and global responsibilities, while fighting the good fight of faith.

Starting from humble beginnings, as a young, healthy, fast growing, multicultural church her faith in Jesus Christ is core to who we are. Pastor Lula B. Harris was the mother of nine children, seven girls and two boys of whom were raised in the ministry. She was formerly a teacher/preacher with a passion for outreach. She was greatly involved with servicing the homeless and less fortunate. She exemplified love as she served those who needed to know the love of Christ Jesus. Pastor Lula instilled that same love into each of her nine children. As twenty first century millennium leaders as well as the leadership staff, at H.H.O.W. Ministries we serve in the spirit of excellence with the utmost level of integrity, dignity and respect.
